Piece of Mind...contd!

The sorrow absorbs all other emotions,
The truth I cannot hide,
My mind, a crowded place of commotion,
Pushing all sanity aside.

On Judgement Day, I see the stars,
Bright spots make me blind,
If what we see, isn't who we are,
Where is my Piece of mind?

hmm.... the confusion and turmoil... its normal to undergo these at some phase of your life, until you make peace with yourself. I'm sure the peaceful sunset is not too far and a bright, hopeful sunrise will follow :)

Trapped inside, places we start to hate,
Stuck inside, wasted we fall into place,
Watching the world and waiting for something to change,
Do what we have to,
To get what we need from whats left,
From the chances we take,
Its the impossible way that a human think.

As a kid, we learn how to walk,
As a child, we learn how to talk,
As a young, our sweet innocence makes us adorable.

Carry the burdens of the soul,
And never speak a word of pain,
Make people whole again, make them feel happy,
Now what, what's your problem?
What are you crying for? Cut that noise!
You're just making trouble, that's all.

Here, have sorrows, take them from people around you,
But don't be sad on your own,
Don't forget to keep on smiling!
People love the person who keeps a cheery face,
So wipe off that frown!
You've got nothing to be sad about, anyway,
And there lies your "Peace" of mind.

You should've been satisfied,
You should've been full inside,
You could have been happy,
Simply with your peace of mind.

If there is complexity, then why is that wrong?
If there is turmoil, I need not be strong,
I might have it all, all of what I need,
But still remains with me, a contentious seed,
I couldn't be more grateful, for what I have,
I have a family, I do not starve,
I live with a smile, a smile to live,
If I am not God, who am I to forgive,
I live for today, the future is cryptic,
Inspite of it all, I'm still optimistic...

So wheres my piece of mind you ask?
I put mine in memory's trashcan,
It lies there amongst the childhood dreams,
two tomatoes and a banian.

So you have no hopes or dreams! you ask,
What if the world finds out?
Aha! I say, they will always stay,
'coz I never take the trash out.

If only it were as easy
As not taking the trash out
Then My Piece of mind
I need not live without ...
